Skill
A written recipe that Claude follows for a certain type of task. In practice, it’s a folder with a SKILL.md file in it. You start it with /name, or Claude picks it on its own.
How it appears in the course
A skill is a “recipe” written once, which Claude follows every time it’s needed.
A skill is a folder on your computer. A folder is a “box” in which you keep files. In the folder there’s a text file called SKILL.md. There you write the instructions for a certain type of task.
You replace <name> with the name of your skill, for example code-review.
