OAuth
The way you sign in to a service by clicking “Allow” in a window, without giving your password to another program.
How it appears in the course
/mcp is typed in the conversation with Claude, not in the terminal. It shows whether the servers are working and lets you sign in (OAuth = “sign in with your account”, like the “Log in with Google” button).
CLAUDE_CODE_OAUTH_TOKEN: an access token tied to your subscription. You get it by running claude setup-token. Here “token” means a kind of digital ID, not a piece of text.
